This privacy policy applies to SJA Consultancy’s website at http://sjaconsultancy.com.  We at SJA Consultancy take your privacy seriously. This policy covers the collection, processing and other use of personal data under the Data Protection Act 1998, for which purpose the data controller is SJA Consultancy. By using SJA Consultancy’s website you consent to the policy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office for this purpose.

What Personal Data and Information we collect and why we collect it

We will collect personal data on this website only if it is directly provided to us by you the user, e.g. your e-mail address, name, home or work address and telephone number, and therefore has been provided by you with your consent. Normally you will only provide such details if you [wish to sign up for our free e-newsletter or] are making a purchase from us. In line with the regulation, we have a new Privacy Policy to reflect the new and strengthened rights in relation to your data and the legal grounds for using it. You will always be able to view the most up to date version of our Privacy Policy on our website.
  • We won’t be changing the way we use your personal data, however, we would like to verify that you’re still happy for us to contact you. By giving your consent, you will continue to receive correspondence that includes marketing information from SJA Consultancy.
  • If you decide that you don’t want to receive marketing content from SJA Consultancy we may still be required to send you emails/text messages/phone calls in connection with services that we are providing to you.

Use of cookies

Comments

  • When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
  • An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
  • Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
